A New Stage

Here I am, back again to talk about "technicalities". Despite I'm well aware almost anyone cares about this project, just in case someones does: the documentary is on. I found a couple of quite interesting projects I'm starting the research on. Before March I'll start writing the script and collecting other infos: they're going to be the main corpus of this blog from then on. Probably, I'll just publish in English, with some exceptions. But, still, it's a little bit soon to decide about working languages. Even Hebrew is an option taken into account for the documentary, instead of English. It depends, mainly, on the fluency I could achieve by the time of the shooting.

Concerning the topics, I'll definitely avoid talking about the conflict itself. I'm sorry, but no Gaza or West Bank. Not even shootings or demonstrations. No generalizations. No wide pictures, but concrete ones, streaming local voices. The news are enough to cry, if it's what you want. I'm not interested in death, but in life: unfortunately, sometimes we forget that there's real people having real, even boring, lives. Hope and suffering hidden by the cameras, but going on anyway.

Just a last remark: I may engage in a long-term project. I'll discuss it with my partner and decide. But I'm not sure it's the kind of work I'd like to do.
